Top Artist Of Reggae Fusion

Reggae is one of the many song genres in existence. It began from the country of Jamaica and was first heard from artists such as Bob Marley and Jimmy. These can be said to be the pioneers of popular music. However, over the years, more upcoming artists have come into play and recorded more of this genre. This article discusses some of the top peoples in reggae fusion.

The first artist is from the country of the guinea. His name is Takana Zion, and his music career started at a very young age. When he first started out, his major focus was on the inequality in his country and in other countries across the globe. He did both dancehall and reggae, but he eventually settled on doing popular music. He started a recording studio in 2012.

Etana is one of the most renowned women in popular music. Her name translates to the strong one. She is of a Swahili origin. Jamaica came up with Rastafarian principles which stated to that women were to be respected. Her style is more of a mix of jazz, RnB, popular music and other genres to spread a positive message across.

Tarrus Riley is the son of Jimmy Riley who was a popular music legend and the founder of the such music. How was born in the Bronx in 1979 and started his music career as a teenager. After he released an album known as challenges back in the year 2004. He is currently in the music scene with very high profile performances in relation to the current singers. He is one of the house hold names in the industry.

Chronnix, whose name is Jamar Ronaldo McNaughton, is the son of the legendary artist chronicle. He was born in 1992, and it is little wonder that is one of the best new stars in the reggae industry. He started writing and recording in his teenage years before he began producing tracks for artists such as Konshens and Munga Honorable.

In popular music fusion, there are also bands. One of them goes by the name of roots underground. They are made up of six band members. They maintain the sound of the 1970s reggae and the same Rastafarian message. After the release of their album, movement in 2008 and gravity in 2010 they gained a lot of popularity and had toured 22 countries globally.

Stylo G is a popular music artist born in Spanish town Jamaica. He won the MOBO awards back in 2014. At the age of 15, he together with his mother and brother moved to the United Kingdom. He combined the underneath seen over there but has maintained his roots. He also borrowed part of his style from his dead father poison Chang who was a famous dance hall artist.

In the town of Falmouth, there emerged a ready by the name of Jah9. He was the daughter of a Baptist preacher. She moved to Kingston at a young age where she took part in the youth choir. When she got to university, she made Rastafarian friends which caused her to be deep-rooted in reggae. Sheldon Bernard recorded her ant the famous artist Beres Hammond discovered.
