Knowing About A Swedish Female Singer

The United States citizens admire any beautiful Swedish female singer that they can locate. ABBA had the major responsibility of presenting two of these amazing women to this world. They performed for over a decade and were able to make all types of people get up and dance to their music.

This group has produced some of the top selling records within this world and they certainly earned the respect of millions of people. There was a cute blonde named Agnetha Faltskog singing for this group of individuals and she was very proud of her Swedish background. Her parents were simple people since her dad was a storekeeper who worked himself up to management.

During her time as a child this talented lady learned how to play the piano and she was also a singer within her church choir. She took the time to create her very own musical group called "The Cambers" and they were a big hit with their fans. They showcased their abilities to people who lived within the community and everyone appreciated their talents. At fifteen she would quit school in order to devote more of her time to music.

She wanted to desperately try her luck at singing and this was the golden opportunity for her to take this chance while people loved the music. She considers Aretha Franklin, Lesley Gore and Connie Francis to be her role models when it comes to great artists. Agnetha mainly wrote songs about romance and the heartbreak which comes along with it.

Faltskog met Bjorn Ulvaeus in the late 60's and they began a torrid love affair that was very beneficial to them both. These two were married in 1971 and their union lasted for a short eight years. During this time they had two beautiful children together. Even though they decided to divorce in 1979 this duo still remained with the group ABBA until the end.

The fabulous Frida Lyngstad was also known as "Frida" to many of her fans everywhere. She was born in Norway but grew up in Sweden and her parents were Norwegian and German. Her father was a very proud German soldier named Alfred Haase and her mother was a Norwegian woman named Synni Lyngstad. Unfortunately her mother died at the early age of twenty-one. Frida's grandmother helped to raise her after this happened.

Everyone around knew that her grandmother was a terrific music person who sang for local events. Frida always thought of her grandma as a great role model and she was sure to let the world know about this fact. On many television interviews she would mention her grandmother to the eager host. When she was thirteen Frida ended up performing with an orchestra. Her music endeavors would eventually lead her to Benny Andersson.

Frida found herself to be one Swedish female singer who could finally take control of her life. After the end of ABBA she was able to continue her singing duties on a solo platform. People all around loved "I Know There's Something Going On" since the song had such a strong and powerful beat.
