Fun Adult Halloween Games

By Jason Thomas

Who says Halloween is purely for children? Halloween is, of course, a time for trick-or-treating, and mum and dad certainly can't go out begging in the streets for candy, but the holiday can also be a wonderful time for some adult fun. Don't forget Couples Halloween costumes for pa and ma to really blend in.

If you're planning a Halloween party for grown-ups, you are going to need to have some adult Halloween games available. It is all part of the good times.

Some nice parent Halloween game activities include:

About the City "This is a scavenger hunt. All that you need to do is create a listing of Halloween-related items, pass out the list to each team, and send them on their way to collect the items. Some great objects to put on the list include:

A Hangman's noose

A black veil

An obituary

You get the point. Just include products that have to do with being shocked, spooks, Halloween, or whatever.

You may try a difference on the hunt, too. One great one is to make the hunt a video scavenger hunt. Each team goes off with camera in hand (or cell phone with a camera or whatever) and films the items instead of basically bringing the things back with them. This is truly cool as you can make the item list include really big stuff and potentially frightful things like tombstones. For a further difference, you may have the list be only things like: Superman, a clown, a pirate, a fairy princess, a werewolf, a vampire, and the like. That would suggest the adult Halloween games would include the children through taking video of trick-or-treaters who are all dressed up.

Halloween Fortune Telling "In this game, your guests put their knowledge of one another to the test and begin to know one another better.

Simply hand out slips of paper and a pencil to each guest. Every person then chooses a person at the party (maybe even himself), but does not tell anyone that it is. Then, everyone write a "fortune" for that person, folds it, and puts it into the fishbowl. You may have everybody write one or 1 or 2; that is your decision.

Each individual guest pulls out a slip of paper and will read the fortune. He then makes an attempt to guess which person wrote the fortune and which person the fortune is about.

You get the point. Every person who properly estimates wins a little prize, and this game is a delightful technique to get talks started at your Halloween smack.

A really cool variation of this game is to have each guest put their name on a chunk of paper and drop into the bowl. Then have each guest draw a name from the bowl and have the person that drew the name make up a frightening story about the name drawn. Then have the other guest guess who the frightening story is about.
