Las Vegas Top Monuments to See

The Las Vegas city is commonly known as Sin City for several reasons. Nonetheless, past the bling, glamor and casinos Vegas is the ideal destination for folks of any age and demographic. In the town there's a considerable number of monuments that showcase just how entertaining the town is. Most monuments are free to go to and snap an image in front of. They are even in walking distance from one another.

The Paris Eiffel Tower

One of Las Vegas ' focal points is the Paris Eiffel Tower. Situated at the Paris Las Vegas Casino Resort, this Eiffel Tower is a small reproduction of the real thing. The monument stands 50 stories tall with a glass elevator that lifts you to the very top story observing deck where you can take photos or view the whole city from a good distance. Inside the casino you will find a number of Paris monument replicas and other Vegas monuments.

Bellagio Fountains

Along Vegas Boulevard there are a number of bright lights and Vegas monuments drawing visitors from around the world. One of the most noted trademarks in the city is the Bellagio Fountains. This free attraction showcases water jets shooting over 100 feet in the air.

Stratosphere Hotel Casino

Within the Stratosphere Hotel Casino is the entire sky. As one of the many monuments in Las Vegas, this needle points into the sky as the tallest point in the city. When at the very top visitors are 100 stories in the air, most buildings are only 20 stories tall, Those who visit the Atmosphere can take in the view from an indoor or outdoor observatory deck. Outside you get a view of the "Big Shot" Roller coaster that wraps round the monument. "Big Shot" is the tallest roller-coaster internationally , blasting folks over 160 feet in the air.

Vegas Vic

One of the monuments in Vegas? That's the best known, and oldest, lies among the bright lights of the famous strip. Vegas Vic is his name and he's the cowboy that stands 50 feet tall over the boulevard inviting you to Vegas. Since 1947 he's stood at the Pioneer Club. In 1987 his friend Vegas Vicki joined him across the street.

Volcano at the Mirage

Within the Mirage is one of Vegas? Most talked about monuments. Though it's not one of the very oldest in the area, the Volcano that erupts each hour is among the most visited attractions. Though it's within The Mirage, any person can visit and it's free to see. Made by Grateful Dead's Mickey Hart, this Volcano is a reproduction of a unique volcano complete with steam, smoke and "lava. ".
